                  Quick cooking rice is pre-cooked and gelatinized
to some extent in water, steam or both. 
The cooked or partially cooked rice is usually dried in such a way as to
retain the rice grains in a porous and open structured condition. It takes very
less time (5 minutes) for cooking compared to the ordinary milled rice.
