Chemical management

  •       Application of granular insecticides like Prorate 10%G @10kg/ha or Carbaryl 4% G @ 20 kg/ha in the whorls by mixing with sand after 20 days of sowing.
  •       Spray with Carbaryl 50% WP 1kg/ha or Dimethoate 30% EC @ 660 ml/ha on 20  days after sowing 
  • When infestation crosses 10%, spray Chlorantraniliprole 18.5 SC @150ml/ha
