Identification Symptoms
- Pinkish
oval insects beneath leaf sheath on the nodes, with whitish mealy coating.
- Main
cane stunted also attack roots.
- Sooty mould develops on the honey dew giving blackish appearance on canes which attract the black ants
- Yellowing of leaves
