Chemical management
- Initial
infestation should be checked by spot treatment with insecticides by stem
application with monocrotophos / methyl demeton or imidacloprid
- Foliar
sprays with methyl parathion /malathion / triazophos / monocrotophos each
at 3 ml/l in combination with dichlorvos 1 ml/l are effective
- Spray any one of the following insecticides as an
alternative (500 lit spray fluid/ha)
- Imidacloprid
200 SL @100 ml
- Methyl demeton 25 EC 500ml/ha
- Dimethoate 30 EC 500ml/ha
