Identification Symptoms
- Affected plant loses
its vitality due to sap sucking by nymph and adult whiteflies
- Plants show yellowing,
downward curling and drying of leaves.
- Normal photosynthesis
is restricted due to growth of black sooty mould on the honeydew excreted
by the whitefly.
