happened. The following preventive measures are recommended for cyclones:
• Introducing better cyclone warning systems
• Plantation and conservation of cyclone-resistant trees
• Selection of lodging resistant variety
• Tailoring sowing and transplanting time may be made in such a way so that it can escape peak cyclone period at maturity stage
